A power of attorney is always tailored to its specific purpose. Only the powers needed for the process are included.
Changes in ownership
Sometimes the legal ownership of a home needs to be adjusted.
For example, when:
- a co-owner is added or removed
- a home is divided after a divorce
- family members become joint owners
- a share in the home is transferred
- the details in the ownership documents are no longer correct

What do we need to get started?
That varies per situation. It often helps if you already have:
- identity documents of the people involved
- NIE numbers, if available
- the title deed of the property
- Nota Simple
- details of the notaries or advisers involved
- the will, death certificate or family details in the case of an estate
- existing powers of attorney or agreements
- relevant correspondence
- a short description of the desired outcome
